The entire body, cap, and grip section are made from jet black ebonite rods imported from Japan. The shape is formed by hand on the lathe before going through 8 sanding and polishing processes to bring out the deepest black and a glass like gloss finish. The clip is solid brass with plating, which has a far supior feel over other pressed steel clips.
Gold nibs will come with the gold clip, and silver nibs with the silver clip. You can select this option after adding to cart.

A plated steel #6 bock nib is fitted to the pen, with the option of Medium and fine widths and gold or rhodium plating held in stock. Other widths and finishes available to order, please see the Nib page.
Every pen is compatible with an international standard cartridge or converter fill system, unless otherwise stated. A quality K5 Schmidt converter with large ink capacity is included. These converters have the collar type fitting at the tip which provides a reliable and long-lasting seal on the bock housing system.
Although I make every effort to produce accurate photographs. Please note that the colour may appear differently in photos and on screens than it would do in real life. But more often than not, the colours have much greater depth in person than I can capture on camera!
